how save date in sql server using vb.net?

when i click the save button it sayss receive it,but when i went to see the result at sql server the date where in 1900-01-01.how to get real date?anyone guys....

That was a guess, because Month is January, Date is 1 and year is indeed 1900. A very common guess for the date object would share the idea that this is indeed default value.

I guess that SQL Server is storing the default value in the system because he might have set it to not store nulls instead store a default field is the value is not provided.

You are right, he indeed needs to share the code, otherwise a guess can take a very long drive in despair.

I guess that your date object is not having any details of the date instance. The value being stored is default. Either SQL Server stores default values (to ignore nullable types) or your object is always having a default value only.

I would suggest that you debug your application.

Why everybody are guessing the things????

You give some more details how you connect vb.net and sql and what syntex code you have written that does not work or gives error.

first try to search google and learn about the basic thing
