display the records in crystal report

In first column i want to display 10 records in next column next 10 records . I have used section expert format with multiple column and have selected layout across then down even down then across but records are display in one column only. they are not breaking after 10 records.

please help me out.

I want to display records like

1 6
2 7
3 8
4 9
5 10

even though i tried section expert-> format with multiple columns -> layout-> specified spacing-> across then down also down then across then records are displaying like

8
9
10.


plz suggest me how to break the records.
