How to create photo collage templates

Hello

I am a fresher,I want to create a photo collage template where I want to display the browsed images in the collage template and save the collage as a single image.But have stuck in the initial step of designing the template(probably it might be simple).can you please guide me how to start with

CSS is a massive topic, a bit beyond the scope of a "quick answer" on a forum. Go through some on-line css tutorials or get a book on css and at least get a grasp of the basics.

what about html?can't we use html canvas? I need to create a simple collage layout which takes 4 images

You can't learn such huge subjects from a forum thread, you're going to have to start reading some books, and what you need to do will become clear. If you at least get an understanding of the basics you'll then be in a better position to ask specific questions about specific issues you are having. This is not a trivial subject.
