get the value of a label from exe application

I want to be able to get the value of a label from an executable (eg. app.exe) everytime it changes, I have an exe that has a label with a customer id (the exe connects to a database) I want to "capture" this id value everytime (locate object on form) and get it's value. Example I need a tutorial or code like win form snoop spy.

I would suggest you to get info about how Spy++ works. A starting point could be this page: "Spy++ Internals"[^].
