Does query performance depends on field count of the table ? Only select query from one table.

Hi all,

Does field count depends the query performance?

eg; I have a table with 25 filed..
this make poor performance in select query?

Have any alternative solution to avoid this?

Yes, the number of fields in SELECT statement may affect on query performance.
