asp.net controls not working in the page after clicking on Export button (export formats:excel/csv/PDF/html)

in my page i have few asp.net buttons,grid and options to export the grid data to (excel,csv,pdf,html) formats. when ever i export my data to any of the formate, non of the controls(asp.net) in the page works after the export. menu works fine , even the javascript alert.
Please Help
