I have been successful creating a thumbnail from a tif file with help of these Q&A's.
Now I need to create a thumbnail image of a CAD drawing (*.dwg) file.
Is this possible...?

There must be a public method somewhere, because Windows Explorer displays these bitmaps, and I know there is an internal bitmap somewhere in the drawing file.
But I can't find it.
I know there are vector viewers out there which rely on the OpenDwgAlliance API which is very expensive to buy.
But they are not free.
