(untagged)
I submitted an article yesterday using the upload wizard. The submission workflow is pretty opaque for us not-respected-enough-to-see-the-queue(s) people. I don't know who can see what, who has to approve what, etc.
My two specific questions are:
1) Can I see some sort of status to verify that the submission went through?
1a) Can I see if the zip file was formatted correctly? It wasn't clear where the html file should go relative to any downloadable content (e.g., the source)
1b) What is the next step I should expect and how many steps are there to public visibility? The "unedited" state and associated transitions aren't really clearly explained anywhere (is there a submission workflow page?).
- and -
2) At what point is possible or useful to submit a change? It's nothing important, but I missed some <code> tags on variable names in description text and they make the text much more readable.
I have some friends and clients who want to look it over when it's up (I asked for some specific feedback), so I'm trying to set some expectation before I tell them to check it out. If it's going to be a complicated process I will just post it on my blog while waiting.
Thanks!
