I read about WWF. My project is ( Archiving System )an ASP.NET project and I needed workflow designer for the end-user to make him design the document-flow, so I re-host workflow designer in WPF. till now its ok.

1- when I run workflow, should I get a XAML file? and how I can reach the values that I want to update them on my DB? I want to understand the proccess of the runtime of the workflow please.( as a developer)

2- I need to know how I can take the values form my Data Source (DB) to my workflow and when I run the workflow update them in DB ? specially I'm working with an End-User.

Like the following scenario :
a specify document goes to HR department then they check if its correct then sign it then send it to the Manager who sign it then save the document and the changes.
