Cannot create a database in sql2008

Hi ,
I am trying to create a database in SQL-SERVER 2008 express edition(trial version). I am using Windows authenication. But gives an error : "Permission denied in database 'master'.".

Please help me creating the database by changing some settings...
Job in danger.

You must have at least an admin account to do that. The password is usually specified during the installation of the DB server.

Solution 1

This is for SQL Server 2005, but the principle is the same: Resolving CREATE DATABASE Permission denied in database 'master' error on SQL Express[^]

A quick google using your error message would have found you that - it did for me...
