visual studio 2008 cannot run as administrator

hi,
I need to open a website which I created in locahost.
But I am unable to run visual studion 2008 as Administrator.
error message is : The Application cannot start.

How can I resolve this issue?

If nothing works as it should, then probably your computer or Visual Studio is corrupted and the best thing would be to make a backup of your data, reformat that computer and reinstall the system and applications. You might try some less drastic solutions first like reinstalling only Visual Studio or do a system restauration if it was working before.

Hi,
Everything else in Visual Studio (windows appln, console appln and Web site created in File System) is working fine. I created this project few days back. I compiled and run it. It worked fine. But When I wanted to check this after few days this is the problem, Even now I am able to run this from localhost but unable to open in VS 2008 to edit some files.
