Attaching a digital notepad

Hi,
I have a problem in attaching a digital notepad in my php site. Actually i have no idea on how to attach such a device with php site. The device will perform the following tasks:
1. read user input data from digital pad through a digital pen,
2. and send the data to a remote server.

I have no idea on how to communicate hardware device from web pages. Could anyone give me some hint about this.

Please it's very urgent for me. If anyone help me i will be grateful to him/her.

This will only work if the device is installed on the user's PC and allows the user to input data direct to their web browser.

Don't you have any driver for the digital pad, I hope it work same as a mouse if you install proper driver of it.

If you can provide any specification of the device then it may help other to answer properly to your question.
And if possible provide the link of the website in which you want to use it.
