Well, a couple of options:

First one is zlib:
http://www.zlib.net/[^].

Another option is the famous 7-Zip with its cross-platform port p7zip, which supports ZIP format among others:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/sevenzip/[^].

Both libraries are Open-Source.
