save the grid kendoui table by joining 2 tables

hi,

i am working on kendoui grid. In my grid i am having one dropdown option i have taken that dropdown values from seperate table and i have join in he main table.

means like join 2 tables preset i am unable to save the values in the grid table using those dropdown list values.

and also i have written seperate query to display values in dropdown so please anyone can tell or send related sample code.
