codepage convert from 1256 to Iran System standard

hello,

my application reads a text written in the windows 1256 arabic encoding and then sends that string to an electronic scale. scale can only understand Iran system standard encoding, I don't know how to convert windows 1256 encoded text it to Iran system standard encoding.

Solution 1

The best I can find is the character set[^] for ISS. I'm guessing you'll need to take characters from the windows 1256 string and convert them to individual bytes based on the character map. Then write the byte stream to the device.
