Delete Combobox drop down items using QT

Hi EveryOne,

I am new to QT. I am using Qcombobox...In a sppeacial case ...i want to delte the dropdown item by highlighting the dropdown item and press delete button.

but as soon as i press any button on drop down the highlighted member gets into the line edit.

Please let me know if anybody has some idea related to the same.
