Can the delay set in a simple arduino push button program be adjusted internally by using the arduino without re-writing the code for the delay and uploading again?

I need to control 1 relay with 2 push buttons. The amount of time the relay contacts stay closed (each button represents a different delay time) must be adjustable without changing the code externally but rather by using the arduino itself with other code. Is this possible and if so can someone help with a program?

This question has nothing to do with IDEs, and is quite specialised. It would really help you, to tag it properly

Maybe I've not completely understood what you're after but ...

Can you not wire 2 pots in - each from REF to one of the A pins - sample the voltage to determine the delay?
