hi all ....

I have a problem in window application .....

the problem is that i have completed my project on lab management system(LMS) and now i want to create set up of LMS simply i created the set up but its not working for sql server ......So please if any one have solution of my problem please share with me ...i just want to create set up which is runs in the network and database is sql server and also i want to launch my application in start up by coding .

Please help me if now my job is in ur hand..

Where is installed MS SQL Server? Is it installed as local server or network server?

You want to install SQL Server itself or just create a database on an existing SQL Server?

If the first then what do you mean by "the network"? Installing remotely requires that the target machine must still do the install itself by the way.

If the second the SQL Server should be giving you an error telling you exactly what the problem is.

sir "network" means in my college n/w how can i install my window application to server system that will be accessed by all the remote . So i want the solution for that task

Solution 2

So you are not installing SQL Server at all.

I would suggest that you have a configuration entry which has the connection string. The delivered app has the connection string appropriate for your SQL Server (university computer.) You should use windows authentication.
