Charting with highperformance and client side zooming

Hi All,

I have been using .net chart control to display more than 10,000 points.Less than 5000,performance is good and fast but performance is very slow when it comes to plot more than 10,000 points.Also there is no client side zooming in web based chart control.I am new to silverlight and found that it has client side zooming and drill down features as well.So is it good to use silverlight chart control?and hows the performance.If i have to use silverlight,what are the things i need to install as im using Visual Studio 2008.If not are there any third party tools?Please provide some information.
