create Route on map in android application

Hi all,

I am new to android application. I want to know about such application which display path in google map. I have table which have 2 place(source place and destination) and each has x-coordinate and y-coordinate.
how to display route on map using this information.Is it possible to display route using above data?
if yes then suggest me to how to start on working this application.If you have seen this type of example please give me a link. Because seeing example i can get better idea.
