VC++.net 2003 book for syntax

Hi,

I am a C programmer with some experience in C++. I am not aware of VC++.net on which i need to do my current project. Can you suggest me some good book wherein I can find the syntax primarily as well as concepts for starting up. I am really struggling with the different type of strings like string, CString, String, System String.....

Solution 1

Beginning Visual C++ 2008[^] is a very good beginner level book. I know I've recommended a book that's more recent than you need, but the syntax and basic concepts should remain the same.
