PayPal Integration with shopcart Tangible & digital goods & downloads through a paid download manager

Hello and I hope you can shed some light on this problem. I sent an enquiry
regarding process for including digital products on my tangible goods shopping
cart to PayPal and so far no reply, thought it might be worthwhile
contacting you.
I have a custom made shopping cart for PayPal and other offline payment alternatives
and also sell some digital products. I have the digital products (ebooks)
listed on their own separate webpages to accommodate the paid secure download manager
aspects.
I would now like to include the ebooks firstly on my PayPal shopcart area so that customers can buy their tangible & digital products together and have them submitted to PayPal using ONE payment and from there have PayPal notify the download manager to trigger the links to digital products. PayPal are already doing this but the ebooks are setup as a one off payment on their own.
The only option that I have been offered is to have the entire shopcart set-up on
download manager store. I would prefer to keep the process, as far as possible, on
my own website and deal through the exisgting set-up for downloads.
Have you worked with this type of process which involves a download manager other
than PayPal itself and if not can you make it happen ? What is the degree of
difficulty here.

You can sell your digital goods by using online software. Your client can purchase with any card and more payment options are enviable in this type of software. No coding skill required.
