Hi.

This problem is blowing my mind.

We have a SharePoint wiki site that we created and we did a lot of customisation on the way things work.

We have created many custom web parts and added them all to the article template so they all appear on every new article that gets created.

In addition to this, we also added the default SharePoint comments web part to the template.

Now my problem is, these articles get accessed from many different places. We built a custom search screen, a home screen that has a specific view of certain articles and then of course you can access the articles from standard SharePoint areas as well.

When comments get added to an article, these comments save, but are only visible again, if you access the article from the same area as before.

So if they get accessed from the home screen, all the comments that were made when the articles were viewed from there are shown, but if access from the search screen, the comments are empty. But hen comments are added then, from then on every time you access it from the search screen, all those comments are shown, but none that were added when navigating from the home screen.

I hope this makes sense as to how I am trying to explain it.

I am completely dumbfounded as to where I should even start looking at this problem.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Regards
Francois
