how to extract video data from gstbuffer in gstreamer-1.0

I am a newbi in gstreamer plugin development. I am developing plugin for gstreamer 1.0 using c programming language. I am not able to extract video data from gstbuffer. Can anybody help me out with this? Thanks in advance
