Search the row index of the row where Clientname is [whatever] ?

I have a One Search Box where we can search the "ClientName" now this
Client Name match with Database ClientMaster -> ClientName
if both Equal
then Give the rowindex
whose ClientName is this

i only want the rowindex where clientname = "";
