I want to design a new spaceship for myself, but is it practial to do that? Can I really do that based on my knowledge and skills? What else do I need to know, invetigate to achive this?

These are the questions you should ask yourself. As far as your question is concerned, Discussion Form is something which you need to decide about what all features you really want in it.
