xml items count in sql

i am passing a xml to stored procedure that containing more than one value.
i want to loop each one up to the end of item in xml.if anyone know ,please let me know asap.

my xml contain 6 records. and i want to loop 6 times and need each record for other operation like
while(count<=6)
set accountno=//value
