hi all curretly in my project everyday I need to open a particular URL(which is kind of like app view in Control-m) and search for some jobs and send its status in a mail and believe me its very boring and i want to automate it.although m not very versed with scripting in perl and python i can still manage if some one gives some insight on how to achieve it

I am not asking for a solution,What I am asking if someone can guide me for a good design and how it can be achieved
