MAtalb interface to c#.net

hi

i ahave interfce my C#.net with my matlab m script code and i have writen a
add function to my m-script as

function y=add(x)
y=x+2;

but i am unable to exctue this function through my c# project

i am trying like this
matlab.Execute("[y]= add(2);");

can any one help me on this.
