Want to create VC++ MFC Serial Communication Programming by calling Function through Clicnt DLL from Servert DLL

I have an Serial communication application in which I want to read and write from hardware but except simple function call I want to Develop one dll file in which I define all function which I am using in the Serial Communication.And after that I just call the dll in my client application How it possible please give me some suggestion or some pseudo code.please help..
