Aside from those that are mentioned above, basecamp is also another project management software that is a great alternative to other software packages. It's cheap and easy to use. No wonder it's the most used project management software. If basecamp is not your choice, there are also a lot of basecamp alternatives which can also be better than other software packages.

Don't ask the same questions over and over. I don't see why you'd need Project for all the machines in your company anyhow, my manager used to use it, and give us printed Gant charts, I had no need to run it.
