My SQL Server Management Studio was failing with 'DbProvider factory can have one provider error'. So I opened the machine.config and pruned the empty <dbprovi...'>
Unable to find the requested .Net Framework Data Provider. It may not be installed. (System.Data)

Any pointers or clues?
