How to make your own master page without using asp.net master pages. Would either jQuery or so another script?

Is not a joke !!! I would like to make a HTML master page without using ASP.NET Master Page.

Master Page is concept of Asp.Net.
Before ASp.net in ASP or HTML we simply use to copy paste code for common layout.
