editcontol is not allowing to enter the text

I am using MFC Dialogbased Application It has 2 tabs
on 1st tab.. I have put editcontrol but i am not able to enter the text in it(if i clicked into editbox cursor is not showing)
on second tab my editcontol is working fine.
I don't know whats wrong with first tab why editcontrol is working weird.

Check the properties once,may be you made it as readonly-TRUE in properties list.
