Space recognition and calculation

Hey guys,

I am trying to find the spacing between words for my project on offline handwriting detection. I need a C# code for determining what is the average spacing in the handwriting. I have the code for histogram but not quiet sure how to use it to get the vertical projection and hence find the average distance between 2 words.

Please help!

Here is what is expected of enquirers:
1. TRY first what you want to do! You may find that it's not that hard.
2. Formulate what was done by you that looks like an issue/not working.

Try them and tell if you face issues.
