Opening and Closing balance calculation

Current Day: Opening Balance 1000 Dr

Debit Credit

500 100

Closing Balance 1400
My Calculation 500 100 --> i got a output this one- output was not correct

Daily Total(Sum) 1500 1500 --> this output was correct

Next Day Opening Balance 1400 Dr

I need daily total amount tally to particular transaction.

Please explain more. What I'm reading is that you start with 1000. Then you Debit 500 and Credit 100. Which to me means 1000-500+100=600. So how could 1400 be the closing balance? What calculations are you actually using? And what are you actually asking for? A crystal reports formula? Or what? Click the Improve question link and give us more information so we can help you.

simply started with 1000 rs debit. first check the opening balance debit or credit. if debit means use a formula opening balance+debit-credit. otherwise opening balance-debit+credit.check the crystal report formula link

That didn't clarify anything for me. I understand the formula...I just don't understand your data and what you are expecting to happen. If you want help, you're going to have to clarify and step us through what you are doing using complete sentences so we know what you are talking about.
