Provide more details? Do you any errors in Console window of Developer Tools?

Expected identifier, string or number and object required in a file but how the same file will get executed in my team members system?

Try hitting F12, see if you are in standards mode or quirks mode. A bit of a long shot, but I've heard that happened to someone I know.

what is the difference between standard and quirk mode?

ie 8 can behave as if it was ie7, 6 or even earlier. Before standards, each browser had its own set of 'quirks'. Google 'HTML DOM Quirks', you'll find a lot of stuff there.

What I know is, Internet Explorer disables javascript by default. If you don't allow the content it wont work. Try this: when you open the browser if it asks you about allowing content, rightclick the bar and choose "Allow content".
