Convert Word To PDF (Bookmarks)

Good day all.

I have a word document that is being generated from code that contains bookmarks.
Now I have been given the task to in a similar manor generate a pdf document that is able to use the bookmarks.

I am able to generate the pdf from the document without any problems. Its just the bookmarks part that is giving me a headache.

I have changed the word document's bookmarks from a placeholder bookmark to <bookmarkname>. And that works, but I have been told not to alter the bookmarks in the word doc because they are working fine.

So is there any way that I have not come across yet?

what you excatly want? only convert doc to pdf or want the bookmark option in your converted pdf file??

Create new document based on existing one, replace bookmarks with text and export to pdf ;)
