************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:
<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitdebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

i dont understand why is it happening.
please suggest me something.

Can you provide your code please?

Please share the code as well for someone to be able to pin point the error.

Especially show the code of the DataSanitization.StudySanitization.button3_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) method.

Use the "Improve question" link above this comment.

If you use the Visual Studio interactive debugger and put a breakpoint in DataSanitization.StudySanitization.button3_Click at the line that contains System.IO.Directory.GetFiles and then view the parameter passed to System.IO.Directory.GetFiles, you will see the problem. Most likely caused by a variable that is not initialized properly.

The error is pretty clear. Perhaps if you shared the code you could get some help.
