background-color property in CSS media type print

I am using the background-color property in CSS media type print.

The problem is Browser does not show background-color or background-image in print preview.
if i check the setting of browser show background image and color it's work fine.

How can this be solved?

One of the settings for how a page is sent to a printer (presumably, then, from your browser) is to not print the background. This is usually the default as the background (generally) interfere with the the readability of text (especially smaller fonts).

Check the settings - and then consider, if relevant how it will work on other people's browsers if they don't change their settings.
