MVC4: handling large blocks of text

I am new to MVC. Large blocks of text has to be displayed on some pages in the MVC4 project that I am working on. Text is supplied by another department few times a year, so must be updatable. What options are available for MVC4 project to handle these text blocks properly ? Can resource files be used?

Solution 1

MVC4 has nothing to do with it. You have blocks of text. You can store them in your database, or you can paste them directly in to your controllers. There's nothing special about it. If the text can change, or you'd like a flexible system, put it in a database.
