session time out problem in c#

hi ,, i have used session in my asp.net application

and i set the session time out 2 minutes

C#

HttpContext.Current.Session.Timeout = 2;

but it Expires after 10-15 minuents!
why?
and what is the default time out in asp.net ?!

Solution 1

by default website session time out is 20 min.
in the web config file change in sesion stae change timeout to = 2 minute
