SharePoint 2010 Office Data connection file data source definition changes

Hi,

Please pardon me if my query is silly, Since i am new to SharePoint 2010 reporting services data source.

I have SharePoint 2010 application, in that some of the reporting services are hosted. This reporting services connected to SQL's SSRS service.

The data source definition is defined using Office Data Connection file of extension *.rsds.

Every now and then source definition gets change, i have to configure this manually to work with reporting service.

Please any one can help me with this, why it happens and any workaround to resolve this.
