Export Problem in Crystal Reports

Hello

I have developed a web module using ASP and Crystal Reports 7. It was running smoothly in Windows Server 2000 and XP server computers. But recently, I changed my server to Windows Server 2003 and am facing a problem while exporting the report to Excel. It shows the following message when exporting a report:

“ The report was not exported. The export report format may be disabled in the server.”

Please help me solve the problem. Thanks!

Do you have Office/Excel installed on your new server (windows server 2003)? If not - Install it and it should be fine.

Also check if crxf_xls.dll exists on the server. If not then copy to enable the export. Also it needs to be registered (using reg32srv).

Lastly, you are still on Crystal 7 which is quite old version (support and issues to resolve would be difficult), moving to Crystal 10/11 would help.
