Hi Admin,

I actually have a request, that's why I myself marked it as not a question. Please do not down vote it 'cause I already mentioned it is not a question and simply I don't know a better place to to put it.

Here's my request : If anyone down votes any answer, he must have to put a comment about why he has down voted the answer.

This feature should be added as soon as possible. It is for everyone's benefit as I have already seen my few answers down voted for (as per I think) no reason.

I hope that other user's of http://www.codeproject.com would agree with me. Please give your valuable thought on this too. Also, a very Merry Christmas to everyone :)

With Regards

Think about this, why you are in this forum:
a.) Hunting for points
b.) Learning from others

I decided for b.). I admit also me it hurts me if one of my answers will be down voted but I can live with it ;)

My Friend, I understand your point and the second important thing is, point isn't making me rich or poor and obviously it's a passion to help others. I am not obligated to help someone but the point is, when you write an answer just that someone might get help out of it and you actually put your valuable time into it and then someone just down vote it even without telling you a 'why', then it not just hurt, It kills me. That's why I put this request. I guess now you understand my point :)

Don't post this under Quick Answers - if you want to talk to the admins, then you need to post thjis here: http://www.codeproject.com/Forums/1645/Site-Bugs-Suggestions.aspx[^] - they read every post there.

Posting this here relies on them "dropping by" and realising it is for them.

However, this has been suggested many times before and it is very, very unlikely to be implemented.
