Hi,
We need to setup server for application deployment.The minimal requirement is IIS,Windows services.

1. We need to be able to run SQL Sever 2005 or 2008 on it
2. We need to be able to provide the WEB application via IIS port 80
3. We need to provide Services via the system
4. We need to be able to UPLOAD/DOWNLOAD (from client side) ftp

Please suggest which one is better.We are planning to go for Windows server 2008 R2 Standard.Is it ok.Please suggest

Hi pdmkosireddi,

As per your requirement stated above, I will confirm you to go with the Windows Server 2008 R2 as that is the current stable server version. If this answered your query, please "Mark As Answer".
