bind heavy size images in grid view , flipview .

I am binding heavy size images (Image size more than 1 mb ) in grid view and flip view.
If I bind more than 50 images then application crashed.

In this collection more than 50 images
gridview.itemsource = collection ( at this point application crash)

if image size is small than application working fine.

please suggest appropriate solution.
