How Can I record Video? (Not Webcam)

I want to record video of the screen. I searched the web but could not find any relevant examples. All the examples that I found where using webcam.

Well, to do that, you need a video input. That's your first issue. Once you buy a video capture card, you can use the same code that connects to a webcam, to connect to the video.

By record video, do you mean a screen capture utility?

You could record screen image captures[^] and then combine them to form an avi video easily.
