why folder 'app_code' in solution explorer is not getting published

In solution explorer I have a folder 'app_code'. In this folder, I have slideshow.cs files.
It works well in local host. When deployed for publishing, I can not see that 'app_code' folder
in the published file. Because of this problem I am unable to upload that 'app_code' files and therby the slider function in remote is not happening!

Solution 1

After publishing the app_code will not be visible Same as how the page code files are not there.

Set the published website as a virtual directory in the IIS and try to run the site . It will work all the functionalities.

Should I use this virtual directory in IIS to upload files to remote. Anyhow, how to publish the website into this virtual directory in IIS. Normal publishing I am able to do it. Anything to do with Publish Website dialog box?
