How to increase the transmission speed between pc and pda

Development environment：VS2008 and WindowsMobile6.1(.net compact framework: 2.0).
i was uploaded and Download data from PC by the WebService, the data size probably 5MB,the problem was that
taked more than 30 minutes, how can i to improve the performance issues, thanks!

First you need to do some diagnosis to see why it is slow. Do you have a bad connection, slow link etc?

at the Beginning, i was cycle called webservice method, it take too much access to the service, then i changed, call a method with an argument that is an array, then a memory overflow error occurs, seemingly PDA does not support such a large object Transfer
